I do love alliteration!
I said that last month.
Have the Babes succumbed to a bread baking bias? Only baking breads that begin with ‘B’?
The proper name of the bread is Bulgarian Cheese Bread or Tootmanik Gotovo Testo.
They could have made Bulgarian Brie Bread but the cheese used is actually feta…. A better choice as it would have a better chance of staying intact during the baking.
Besides, I like feta… Even if it begins with an ‘F’.
Back to the Babe’s bread.
Tanna, of My kitchen in half cups is our host kitchen this month. She found this fun recipe in Jane Mason’s ‘Book of Buns’.
Check out Tanna’s post for the scoop on various types of feta as well as the different versions she made of this easy bread…. including one with raisins.
It’s meant to be a snack bread which makes it perfect for summer (or anytime for me…)
To join in the fun and be a Bread Baking Buddy this month check out My kitchen in half cups for the details, the main recipe, and instructions.
Have some fun with this one.
And that’s it for the Babes in August….
